The dust has settled (mostly), but we're not out of the woods yet. Court is on Wednesday morning, to determine whether my parents get full custody of Miranda or not. I'm expected to be there as well, so here's to an all-nighter, I imagine.

She is home safe and sound, now, though, which is most important. Whatever happens from here, we'll take it as it comes. ♥

This whole week = major suck and fail. My phone was out for two days, my sleeping schedule got all fucked up, Miranda's sick again, Mom's been a bitch all week, Rachel's mom's been a bitch all week, and I painted half of my bedroom for nothing. Not to mention that I've felt like shit on and off.

With the construction in my bedroom going on again, I'm just about ready to say 'fuck it,' and live with half-painted walls and badly-applied wallpaper, because I don't care. I just want to have a room without drywall mud and paint everywhere, and I'd like to be able to live in it freely. This has gone on way too long.

On the bright side of things, I should be ordering my new PC sometime today or tomorrow~! It should ship in about two weeks or so. I still haven't decided what I'm getting, though. I'm looking at an OptiPlex 320 minitower right now for $429; Pentium 4 processor, 160GB harddrive, 1GB of ram, 16x DVD/RW. *____* Daddy said he'd like to keep it under $400, but I'm hoping, given how good the deal is (it comes packaged with a lot of other shit, too), he'll let the $29 slide. We'll still have to buy an optical mouse (I will use no other kind) and a set of speakers, but that shouldn't be expensive. I could probably score both for just over $20.
